Plans priced in credits

Each endpoint has a weight in credits. Most charge it per instrument, so dividends for 10 symbols cost 10 times the weight. A few charge per call, page or series, and the table above says which. History length never changes the price, so 40 years of daily bars costs the same as one day.

No. We only bill items that come back with data. Symbols we can't resolve, datasets that don't apply, data we're still fetching and failed requests are free, and a symbol repeated in the same call is billed once.

Paid plans keep working and we bill the extra credits at your plan's overage rate, which is between $0.20 and $0.50 per 1,000 credits depending on the plan. If you'd rather stop at a limit, you can set a spend cap. The trial stops at its 1,000 credit cap.

You pay for the year up front and get 2 months free compared with paying monthly. Your credit pool still resets every month, and overage is billed monthly on both options.

Starter includes 31 of the 39, Growth includes all 39, Scale includes all 39. The trial has every endpoint, and the comparison table shows which plans include each one. Calling an endpoint your plan doesn't include returns a 403 with the code plan_upgrade_required, and you aren't billed for it.

Plans belong to an organisation. Every key in the org draws from the same credit pool and shares the rate limit, and you can invite as many teammates as you need at no extra cost.

Cached and uncached reads cost the same, so you don't have to think about what we already hold. Add fresh=true when you need us to skip the cache. Items fetched fresh are billed at the rate in the last column of the table.

Each plan has a requests per minute limit that every key in the org shares. Going over it returns a 429 with a Retry-After header that says how long to wait. You can also give a single key a lower limit of its own.

Full API access for 7 days, up to 1,000 credits and 60 requests a minute. You don't need a card to start it.
